WordPress is not without reason the most popular and most-used content management system (CMS). If you've never heard of WordPress before, it's a system that allows content management on a website. Without a content management system like WordPress, you wouldn't be able to easily add or change content on your website. Instead, you would need to hire a web designer to make each change for you.
To maintain a high level of content on a website, consistent publication and updates are essential. However, a major obstacle to achieving this is the need to continuously liaise with web designers. This can be time-consuming, as they may take longer to make changes that you could easily do yourself with a content management system (CMS).
There are many advantages to using WordPress as your website's CMS.
The user interface of WordPress is very simple, and anyone who starts using it learns to work with it very quickly and without difficulty. Even if you are not technically savvy, managing the WordPress system will be easy for you to master.
Without a CMS, any change in web content would have to be done in the website code, which is of course, difficult for non-developers to do. WordPress allows you to add and change content as you wish in a very simple way. All content is arranged by pages or posts that you can easily edit and create.
If you want to write a business blog or publish news on your website, with WordPress, it is extremely easy. The blog option is already integrated within the CMS, and all you have to do is start writing.
If you want to have a newsletter subscription on the web - no problem! In WordPress, this is easily solved. Want buttons to share on social networks or a banner on some part of the web? You can do that, too!
WordPress is a well-structured and high-quality Content Management System (CMS). This is one of the reasons why Google favors it. With a WordPress page, you can easily position yourself well in search engine results, if the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is done well.
Of course, lest we just praise WordPress, it also has its flaws. In fact, the main drawback of WordPress and the main reason why it is not always used is that the needs of some websites simply exceed the capabilities of WordPress. Complex websites need various functionalities that WordPress cannot provide. In this case, a custom CMS is used, which means that your web agency programs the CMS itself. Of course, this takes longer and is more expensive, but it is also the best solution in such cases.
These are briefly the main options provided by the WordPress system, but these options can be greatly expanded by adding various plugins.

When you create a new page or post in WordPress, you simply add text to the editor and style it as wanted with the help of various options such as bold, italic, etc. Some WordPress themes, like the ones we use, let you add different things to your web page. For example, you can add icons or galleries. which greatly beautifies the website.
If you allow people to post comments on your articles, you can approve or disapprove comments and reply to comments in WordPress.
You can change the widgets (web page add-ons) that appear on the side, in the sidebar if you have one, or in the footer (at the bottom of the page). Widgets are add-ons such as a search tool, a newsletter sign-up field, a list of recent comments, and many others.
The menu that stands at the top of the page and allows easy navigation of the website can be easily changed through the WordPress interface. If, for example, you add a new page to the web, you can add it to the menu in a few clicks.
As we mentioned, WordPress offers various website upgrades through plugins. There are currently 50,215 WordPress plugins on offer, and new and better ones are constantly being added. Many plugins are free, and some have paid premium versions.
If multiple people in your company add or modify web content, you can create a separate user account for each. This way, each person can log in through their own unique account.
WordPress is a part of the website that works in the background and enables content management, but it is also used to design the page. When you install the desired WordPress theme, i.e. design, you can adapt it to your brand and your wishes through WordPress. This option is slightly more challenging than the other WordPress options we mentioned. It requires more experience and knowledge to make sure the page design is of high quality. That's why most companies hire professionals to create a website that will look nice and professional.
