We have some big news to share... and that is that Bid is one of the companies that TBDC Ontario has selected to participate in its Horizon programme!
What is TBDC Horizon and their programme?
Horizon is a programme developed by the TBDC (Toronto Business Development Centre) which aims to help European start-ups and companies position themselves in the Canadian market quickly and efficiently. A process that usually takes years is condensed into just a few months with this programme.
TBDC has been around since 1990, founded in Toronto as one of Canada's first publicly supported start-up incubators, with the support of the City of Toronto and the Province of Ontario. By 1993, they had launched their first programme, Self-employment Assistance, and the programme has only expanded since then. Today, the TBDC has supported over 10,000 home-grown and newcomer founders across the past three decades.
What's next?
Over the next few weeks, we will be working intensively with the TBDC team in preparation for our arrival in Canada for Sprint Week.
Sprint Week takes place from 20 to 25 September in Ontario, Canada. It is a closed-door event for global founders entering the North American market.
During Sprint Week, we will meet directly with industry experts, attend presentations and educational sessions, and meet with potential partners and future clients. In addition to the structured meetings, there will also be ample opportunity for informal networking, sharing experiences and building connections with experts from around the world.
